Microsolar has a replacement program for older solar water heaters if they are leaking, clogged up, depleted of chemicals or just using too much electricity.

The Rahman Putra Golf Club, Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia, became the first in the world to use the new high efficiency multivalve solar water heaters. 10 units of Microsolar Water Heaters were installed in March 2001 to replace the older generation single valve solar water heaters whose indirect heating fluid had leaked out over the last eight years, and the panels had since been disconnected (visible extreme right, behind the Microsolars).

The Microsolars produce 2640 litres of hot water per day at solar tank outlet temperatures of 55°-70°C to the changing room showers. Ambient temperatures are 26°-32°C.
